Suitcases and other portable luggage can be taken on board. The Kansai-airport Express Haruka and Hokuriku Shinkansen have luggage storage compartments. Bicycles used for recreational/competitive cycling can be taken on board for free if disassembled and stored in a bicycle bag. Not all luggages can be taken on board. For more details, ask a station staff.
